The Alu VHM mold-making radius milling cutter with 2 cutting edges has been specially developed for HSC roughing and finishing of aluminum, long-chipping materials, and non-ferrous metals. With a 40° helix and large chip spaces, it removes material in a controlled manner and ensures clean surfaces even at high cutting speeds.
The clearance behind the cutting edge prevents contact with the workpiece, enabling greater depths of cut. The polished surface further supports chip flow and increases tool life. This ensures consistent cutting quality, even during longer machining operations in industrial use.
