We are very pleased about your interest in our company. Data protection has a particularly high priority for the management of Spanabhebende Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH.
It is possible to use the Internet pages of Spanabhebende Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH without providing any personal data. However, if a person concerned wishes to make use of special services of our company via our Internet site, it may be necessary to process personal data. If it is necessary to process personal data and there is no legal basis for such processing, we generally obtain the consent of the person concerned.
The processing of personal data, such as the name, address, e-mail address or telephone number of a data subject, is always carried out in accordance with the basic data protection regulation and in compliance with the country-specific data protection regulations applicable to Spanabhebende Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH. By means of this data protection declaration, our company wishes to inform the public about the type, scope and purpose of the personal data collected, used and processed by us. Furthermore, this data protection declaration informs affected persons about the rights to which they are entitled.
As the person responsible for processing, Spanabhebende Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH has implemented numerous technical and organisational measures to ensure that the personal data processed via this website is protected as completely as possible. Nevertheless, Internet-based data transmissions can generally have security gaps, so that absolute protection cannot be guaranteed. For this reason, every person concerned is free to transmit personal data to us by alternative means, such as by telephone.
By agreeing to the following data protection declaration, you consent to the collection, processing and use of your personal data by Spanabhebende Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH (hereinafter referred to as SPPW) in accordance with the data protection laws and the following provisions.
Personal data is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter "data subject"). An identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person.
Data subject means any identified or identifiable natural person whose personal data are processed by the controller.
Processing means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organisation, organisation, filing, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Restriction of processing is the marking of stored personal data with the aim of limiting their processing in the future.
Profiling is any automated processing of personal data consisting in the use of such personal data to evaluate certain personal aspects relating to a natural person, in particular to analyse or predict aspects relating to the performance of work, economic situation, health, personal preferences, interests, reliability, conduct, location or movement of that natural person.
Pseudonymisation is the processing of personal data in such a way that the personal data can no longer be attributed to a specific data subject without the inclusion of additional information, provided that this additional information is kept separately and is subject to technical and organisational measures which ensure that the personal data is not attributed to an identified or identifiable natural person.
The controller is the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data. Where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union law or by the law of the Member States, provision may be made for the controller or for the specific criteria for his designation in accordance with Union law or the law of the Member States.
Processor is a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.
Recipient means any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body to whom personal data are disclosed, whether or not that person is a third party. However, authorities which may receive personal data in the context of a specific investigation mandate under Union or national law shall not be considered as recipients.
Third party shall mean any natural or legal person, public authority, agency or body other than the data subject, the controller, the processor and the persons who, under the direct authority of the controller or the processor, are authorized to process the personal data.
Consent shall mean any freely given specific and informed unequivocal expression of the will of the data subject in the form of a declaration or other unequivocal affirmative act by which the data subject signifies his or her consent to the processing of personal data relating to him or her.

2 Collection, processing and use of personal data
2.1 Legal basis of the processing
Art. 6 I lit. a DS-GVO serves our company as a legal basis for processing operations for which we obtain consent for a specific processing purpose.
If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, as is the case, for example, with processing operations necessary for the supply of goods or provision of other services or consideration, the processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. b DS-GVO. The same applies to such processing operations which are necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures, for example in cases of enquiries about our products or services.
If our company is subject to a legal obligation which makes it necessary to process personal data, for example to fulfil tax obligations, processing is based on Art. 6 I lit. c DS-GVO.
Finally, processing operations could be based on Art. 6 I lit. f DS-GVO. Processing operations which are not covered by any of the above legal bases are based on this legal basis if processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or of a third party, provided that the interests, fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject do not prevail. We are permitted to carry out such processing operations in particular because they have been specifically mentioned by the European legislator. In this respect, it took the view that a legitimate interest could be assumed if the data subject is a customer of the controller (Recital 47 sentence 2 DS-GVO).
If the processing of personal data is based on Article 6 I lit. f of the DS-GVO, our legitimate interest is to carry out our business activities for the benefit of the well-being of all our employees and our shareholders.
2.2 Personal Data

For example, when ordering products, it may be necessary for us to pass on your address and order data to our suppliers or for billing purposes. Otherwise, your data will only be transferred if you have given your prior consent.
Your personal data will be deleted, provided that legal storage obligations do not conflict with this and you have asserted a deletion claim, if the data is no longer required to fulfil the purpose for which it was stored or if its storage is not permitted for other legal reasons.
I agree that SPPW processes and uses my personal data for the establishment, execution and handling of my contractual relationship with SPPW.

The information we receive from you helps us to permanently improve your shopping experience and make it customer-friendly and individual for you. For this purpose, we use existing information, such as confirmations of receipt and reading of e-mails, information about your computer and connection to the Internet, operating system and platform, your order history, your service history, date and time of your visit to the homepage and products you have viewed.
We use this information exclusively in pseudonymised form. By analyzing and evaluating this information, we are able to improve our website and our Internet offer and thus send you individual advertising, i.e. advertising that recommends products that might actually interest you. Our aim is to make our advertising more useful and interesting for you. For this reason, the evaluation and analysis of the pseudonymised data collected from you helps us to ensure that we do not send you advertising indiscriminately, but advertising, such as newsletters and product recommendations, which actually corresponds to your areas of interest.
I agree that SPPW may use the data provided by me and further information stored about my customer account as well as pseudonymized usage data to present personalized advertising and/or special offers and services to me.
If you do not want to receive personalized advertising, you can contradict this at any time. A notification in text form (e.g. e-mail, fax, letter) is sufficient for this purpose.

The acceptance of cookies is a prerequisite for visiting our website.
3.1 What are cookies?
Cookies and flash cookies are small files that are stored on your data carrier and store certain settings and data for exchange with our system via your browser. There are basically two different types of cookies, so-called session cookies, which are deleted as soon as you close your browser, and temporary/permanent cookies, which are stored on your data carrier for a longer period of time or permanently. This storage helps us to design our website and our offers for you accordingly and makes it easier for you to use, for example by storing certain entries made by you in such a way that you do not have to repeat them constantly.
3.2 Which cookies does SPPW use?
3.3 What data is stored in the cookies?
In the cookies used by SPPW no personal data are stored. The cookies used by us are therefore not assignable to a certain person and therefore not to you. With activation of the cookie an identification number is assigned to it. An assignment of your personal data to this identification number is not possible at any time. Your name, your IP address or similar data that would allow the cookie to be assigned to you are not requested at any time. On the basis of cookie technology, we only receive anonymised information, for example about which pages of our shop have been visited, which products have been viewed, etc.
3.4 What is targeting?
On the SPPW website data is collected on the basis of the cookie technology to optimize our advertising and the whole online offer. These data are not used to identify you personally, but serve only for an anonymous evaluation of the use of the homepage. At no time your data will be merged with the personal data stored with us. This technology enables us to present you with advertising or special offers and services whose content is based on the information obtained in connection with the clickstream analysis (for example, advertising based on the fact that in recent days only sports shoes were viewed). Our aim is to make our online offer as attractive as possible for you and to present you with advertising that corresponds to your areas of interest.
4 log files
With each access to the pages of SPPW, usage data is transmitted by the respective internet browser and stored in log files, the so-called server log files. The data records stored thereby contain the following data: Date and time of the call, name of the called site, IP address, referrer URL (origin URL, from which you were forwarded to the SPPW website), the transferred data volume, product and version information of the used browser.
Subject to any legal obligations to keep records, the IP addresses of users will be deleted or anonymized after the end of use. In the case of anonymisation, the IP addresses are changed in such a way that the individual details of personal or factual circumstances can no longer be attributed to a specific or identifiable natural person or can only be attributed to a specific or identifiable natural person with a disproportionate expenditure of time, cost and labour.
We evaluate these log file data records in anonymized form to improve our offer and the SPPW online shop further and to make it more user-friendly, to find and fix errors faster and to control server capacities. Thus, for example, it can be traced at which times the use of the SPPW online shop is particularly popular and provide corresponding data volume to guarantee you the fastest possible purchase. Furthermore we can also recognize and fix possible errors in the SPPW online shop faster by an analysis of the log files.
I agree that SPPW evaluates and analyses the data stored in the so-called log files to optimize the SPPW online shop and its application.

Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on the website activities and to provide further services to the website operator in connection with the use of the website and the Internet. In order to increase the protection of your data when visiting our website, the plugins are integrated online into the page by means of a special system. This integration ensures that when you call up a page of our website containing such plugins, no connection is yet established with the servers of Facebook, Google, Pinterest and Twitter. Only when you actively click on a "Share" button and thereby give your consent to the transfer of data does your browser establish a direct connection to the servers of Google, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter. When you click, the providers receive the information that your browser has called up the corresponding page of our website, even if you do not have a profile with the corresponding provider or are not currently logged in. This information (including your IP address) is transmitted by your browser directly to a server of the respective provider in the USA and stored there.
If you are logged in to one of the social networks, the providers can directly assign your visit to our website to your profile on Facebook, Google+ or Pinterest. If you interact with the plugins, for example by clicking the "Like", "+1" or "Tweet" button, the corresponding information is also transmitted directly to a server of the provider and stored there. The information is also published in the social network or on your Twitter account and displayed to your contacts.
The purpose and scope of data collection and the further processing and use of data by the providers as well as your rights and settings options for the protection of your privacy can be found in the providers' data protection information.
Data protection information from Facebook:
If you do not want Google, Facebook, Pinterest or Twitter to directly assign the data collected via our website to your profile in the respective service, you must log out of the respective service before activating the plugins.
