The HSS cutting die in form B is designed as a left-hand cutting version and is suitable for cutting metric left-hand threads. The closed form with a tolerance of 6g ensures that the thread remains dimensionally accurate and precise.

The geometry ensures easy cutting and reliable chip removal. This allows even smaller workpieces to be machined cleanly. The ground surface reduces friction and supports uniform material removal.
